Key Stage 3 Courses

Key Stage 3 Courses

I run two courses aimed at the Key Stage 3 level, KS3 Foundation and KS3 Higher. Both courses run for the full academic year and consist of 35, hour-long sessions each. The classes are live and taken by myself, each one is recorded, to enable students to re-watch the class or catch up if they have to miss a class.

The weekly classes are backed up with weekly handouts, weekly homework sheets with answers provided separately.  There are also half termly topic tests designed to test and encourage revision on the topics covered in the previous half term.  These tests are not compulsory but assist children with their learning and start to prepare them for taking future exams.

Both these courses cover all the topics that make up the KS3 Syllabus.

Online One year KS3 Foundation Level Maths Course

This course is designed for pupils who are not so strong with maths and needing a bit more help to grasp the basics.  It covers all the key topics of the KS3 syllabus.  I aim the course at Year 7/8 level.  We start off with the basics, covering core number skills and then progresses through the syllabus, including topics such as algebra, graphs, transformations, charts and averages to name a few.

————-

This course is now full, I have started a waiting list as well as offering it as a catch-up course, The catch up course is very similar to the live course you have access to all the documents but instead of attending the live class you are able to watch the recording of the class in your own time. If you would like to be added to the waiting list or would like more information on the catch up then please click the ‘apply here’  button below and complete the application form.

Online One year KS3 Higher Level Maths Course

The KS3 Higher course, covers similar topics to the KS3 Foundation course but takes the topics to a further stage thus encouraging the students to deepen their skills and grow with their mathematical abilities.  It is aimed at pupils who are stronger with their maths but not ready for the IGCSE course and acts as a good preparation for the IGCSE 2 year course.
